C A U S E S

In 2020 my goal is to donate at least £100 (approx $130/€120) to a charitable cause each month - this may not be a lot of money but will really benefit some of these small charities.

The money will be raised from profits each month and additional donations can be made within my store (this is limited to my website store and not available on Etsy as there are no additional charges so all the money will go to charity). Below is the current cause I am donating to this month as well as all previous charities and links should you wish to learn more or donate.

FEB - BID TO SAVE A STRAY

Bid to Save a Stray - Friends of Targoviste Rescued Dogs

"The Charity Bid to Save a Stray was founded in 2014 following 2 years of supporting our Romanian Rescuer Cristina Paun through financial support and contractual adoptions in the UK. In 2014 we had 180 dogs in our shelter

Since 2014 our work in Romania has increased dramatically, we have 1700 dogs now in our care in our 3 locations known as Wonderland."

I came across Bid to Save a Stray through Facebook (link below to available dogs) when I was looking for a companion dog for Poppy (specifically I wanted an old male black-haired dog) - I fell in love with these scruffy white female puppies and ended up with Lara a few weeks later. Pictured is Lara (left) and her sister Mara (right) as puppies within the rescue. My experience with BTSAS/Wonderland was fantastic and I couldn't be more grateful for the work they do and that I ended up with Lara thanks to them!

JAN - WIRES

NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.

'WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.) has been rescuing and caring for wildlife for over 30 years and is the largest wildlife rescue organisation in Australia.'

Due to the catastrophic bush fires in Australia during the start of 2020 I chose to donate to WIRES which are helping all of the animals who have been injured, misplaced or are struggling from a lack of food and water
